Introduction

First Attempts - I have been wanting to do a blog and a podcast for a couple of years now. A couple of weeks ago I decided that I needed to stop thinking about it and just start! So, I look at a couple of different ways to get started and this morning decided on Blogger. With that decided it was time to just jump in, get started and write my first entry. I would like to add a podcast to complement this blog down the road. No promises on the time frame though.

The Blog - This blog will consist mostly of my thoughts and experiences with model aviation. I will be including pictures of events that I attend and maybe event a video from time to time. I will also be posting things that interest me from the general aviation community. I am not a full scale pilot but I do appreciate full scale aircraft and developments to them.

A Little About Myself - My real name is John Russcher I am 39 years old and I go by Plane Addicted on several online forums. I am an avid modeler and have enjoyed various aspects of the hobby. Although with 3 kids ages 10, 8 and 6 it has been very difficult getting out and doing allot of flying that last year of so. My day job is designing cabinetry for new construction and remodeling projects. I also enjoy online gaming and currently play WoW and have a level 63 Blood Elf Priest, level 10 Taurn Hunter and a level 13 Blood Elf Rouge. It's been a great way to relieve the stress from work and life in general!

The Hanger - I am currently fling a 1/4 scale Sig Cub with a OS 1.08 and a 27% Hanger 9 Extra 260 with a DA50. I also own a Top Flite Mustang with a OS .91, Balsa USA SE5a with a 3W 24, Dynaflite Bird of Time, Sig Riser, Sig Ninga, GWS Mustang, Tiburon Foamy from 3dfoamy.com planes(), Eflite Ascent electric sailplane and 35% Cardon Edge 540 airframe.

Any comments are welcome as long as it is constructive! This is a learning experience and I hope my skills increase as time goes on.
